Flowers, Bunnies and My Next Journey

I love Spring. This is the time of year when new flowers are starting to bloom. The sun is coming out from hiding in Nashville. Spring training is starting. Easter is right around the corner. And it’s the perfect time to unearth new adventures and journeys in life.

After 5 1/2 amazing years of being a part of the team at Cross Point Church, I am now embarking on one of those new adventures. I have recently resigned my position and am looking forward to what God has next for myself and my family. It is scary to step out from a position and place that is comfortable, but I feel secure in the fact that God has this. I am so grateful for Pete Wilson and the ministry God allowed us to accomplish over the last several years. Cross Point is a great church doing big things for the Kingdom.

As for my next page, I have some very exciting things lining up that I can’t wait to reveal really soon. I am also currently working on the final edits for my book, Small Groups For The Rest Of Us, that will be released September 29th by Thomas Nelson. If you want to get a super early jump on it, it is available for pre-order on Amazon now. 🙂 I will also be speaking at the Exponential and ARC Conferences at the end of April and would love to connect if you’re going.

In the meantime, I would love to help your church in any way that I can. I have a deep passion for seeing the local church be as effective in reaching people for Christ as possible. If my 20 years of church staff experience at Seacoast and Cross Point could benefit another congregation, I would love to talk about it.

I have some time available now for coaching, consulting, speaking or just bouncing ideas off of. Shoot me an email at chris@chrissurratt.com if you need help with:

  • Small group strategy and execution

  • Staff structure

  • Multi-site strategy

  • Ministry direction

  • A fill-in speaker for the weekend

  • Finding the best bbq in your town

  • All of the above

And…let’s go Cards!

Congratulations Chris! I’m excited for you, and for the broader Church that can now benefit from your wisdom. Look forward to seeing you and your family soon.
